The blend of melot, cabenret franc and cabernet sauvignon is a bit of right-bank-left bank bordeaux with an Italian theme. Made as a medium bodeis red, yet it has tremendous depth and fruit concentration. The 24 months in French oak has been consumed with ease. Lots of savoury red fruitsand minerally graphite edge. I love the style as a wine that is perfect for matching Mediterranean dishes.

La Bratta is the name of the nearby mountain village where Garry's mother was born, and the first family vines were planted in northern Italy.
The La Bratta Rosso and La Bratta Bianco wines now represent Garry's personal selection of the best red wine and best white wine barrels from the best vintages in the Forest Grove vineyard. Made in small numbers, not made to a formula, each La Bratta wine is a reflection of our vineyard and our family.
Merlot and Cabernet Franc fermented in open top fermenters and Cabernet Sauvignon in static fermenters -Pumped over thrice daily. Only 150 cases produced. 95 points Ray Jordan
