Arlewood Plantings
The team at Arlewood Estate is committed to the production of limited quantities of high quality wines. The emphasis has always been on viticulture and the production of top quality wine grapes as a primary method of achieving this end. Particular attention is paid to pruning (cane rather than spur), vine nutrition, canopy management (through vertical shoot positioning), vine trimming and leaf plucking.

The vineyard employs minimal soil cultivation and is protected from bird damage by netting at harvest. Current production levels at Arlewood are 1800 to 2000 cases per annum, with plans to increase production to between 4000 to 5000 cases of premium wine over the next five years. [more]
